ADAS calibration by TrueLine Calibration

Your windshield holds the camera that helps keep you safe.

Driver-assistance systems (ADAS) can use cameras and radars for lane keeping, emergency braking and adaptive cruise. After a windshield replacement the manufacturer may require calibration — whether it's needed and which type depend on your vehicle and the manufacturer's procedures. Our calibration division, TrueLine Calibration, confirms it by VIN and performs it with professional equipment, following the manufacturer's procedures and specifications for each vehicle.

Questions

ADAS questions

When is ADAS calibration necessary, and how does it appear in the quote?

If your vehicle has a camera behind the windshield (lane keeping, emergency braking, adaptive cruise), the manufacturer may require calibration after the glass is replaced. We confirm it by VIN and, when required, list the calibration as a separate line in your quote — static, dynamic or both — so there are no surprises. It's performed by our calibration division, TrueLine Calibration.
